Meet the Team: The Boardroom
Emily is currently studying towards a degree in Ancient World at University College London, where she has been focussing on Ancient Greek Language and Literature. She has also specialised in Ancient and Modern Philosophy and Ancient Greek History.
Emily has a background in Education having been a Classics tutor for 4 years, beginning teaching Minimus in primary school and carrying through to private tuition of Classics A-Level. Emily also worked as Campus Manager for Lite Regal an international summer school based out of the University of London campus.
Previously Emily has undertaken major charity roles including becoming an Ambassador for the Holocaust Educational Trust, she also gained a 3 credit ASDAN qualification from this role. From 2016-2018 Emily also volunteered for CAFOD in their Youth Leadership programme where she co-ordinated charity events, ran their social media and hosted workshops for up to 100 people.
Emily has also written for the Tab London for the past year and recently became their Editor in Chief. Using her analytical and creative skills together, she manages a team of nearly 40 journalists producing regular content.
Beyond Classics, Emily is an Advanced Open Water Diver who has used her skills to support the Manta Trust in Research Projects identifying Manta Rays. In her free time, she is a budding chef and makes a mean lasagne.
